My middle son came to visit. 1st time he's been around the beater when it ran so he took it around the block.
Made my day. |

Spray-bombed my hood - was a Marimba Red one but my car is Starlight Black. I shoulda kept the original, but swapped it many years ago for this perfect-condition one.

A buddy bought his smoke machine over tonight. My 63 LeMans started dying at idle, seems like a vacuum leak. No leaks found. On to plan B. What plan B is, I dont know yet.

Car show at the middle school last night, local cruise-in tonight. Small crowds for both as cruise season is settling down. Nice to finally be driving it around instead of working on it!

Went to the track last Saturday which will be my last time before spring. Only got 2 runs in but both were my best ever ETs, great way to end the season.

Yesterday I crawled under the dash and reinstalled the heating/ A/C ducting on my GTO. I had taken it out when routing my tach wiring, and had to find the motivation to crawl back under there and act like a turtle on its back.

Continued blowing my '66 up and test fitting some parts for future reference. I'm excited about this car, just slowly building my endurance after some major surgery back in May. Just picking away at it.

Took the 62 GP out today to blast through the gears. Had new tires put on a few days ago (whitewalls) and the ride feels pretty good.

Just like Greg, I'm picking away at it, only reassembling.
In the last two months I've installed the headliner, rear glass / windshield, and this last weekend Dakota Digital Cruise Control, dash and pedals. Still need to finish the bucket seats then on to the front clip and engine install. Progress has been near zero in the last couple years due to life getting in the way as it always seems to do. But hopefully I'll have it on the street by next summer. 1992 was the last time I drove it.

I hope you're feeling better Greg. You gotta get that Baltimore Goat back together again. It's a brother to mine. A part of the Baltimore Brotherhood.

Looks good Jeff. What color did you paint on the surround on your grills? I see it isn't Argent Silver. A guess would be Eastwood's Spray Gray? If so it's the same as what I used on mine.
