In some of the pictures you can tell it is a vinyl top. Lighting that day was changing all the time I was taking pictures and the background was so bright it is hard to tell if the top was vinyl or painted. I once owned a concourse winning 69 GTO that was the same color combination on the exterior but had a Parchment interior and a 4 speed.

I do like the blacked out grills. My chrome trim needs some work, so I was thinking of blacking it out until I buy new grill trim. I think I will do something similar to yours. Very nice

Does anyone have a somewhat close-up picture of a 68/69 GTO with the lower side trim removed (the piece below the door). Mine is ugly to say the least and I was thinking of just getting it taken off when the car goes in to get painted, but I want to see what it looks like first

Nothing much to see. Just fill the few screw holes and that's it. There might be another set of holes for part of the clip to slide into...can't remember now..The dogleg/fender screw hole is actually rectangular so that a plastic clip nut snaps in but it would just have to be welded shut like the others..
Best pic I have... You can barely see one of the holes directly below the rear edge of the door opening. there are only 4 or 5 of them.

Here is my 68 Alpine Blue. I painted it myself in my barn with a dirt floor. Made a paint booth with sheet plastic from Lowes. Used a 5hp Sears 22 gal compressor. Had to use slow dry thinner so I could let the compressor cool down. I knew I would have a lot of trash, so I put on plenty of paint in order to sand and buff the trash out.

Beautiful weather this weekend, took the car out for it's first run of the Spring. I failed to notice the eye searing lime green Challenger parked in the corner when I snapped the pic

Nice photo....I respect the Mopar and it doesn't ruin the pic...but because of the color, it's a minor distraction..lol

I like it! Reminds me of mine since the paint and vinyl top were just finished this week. First time I've seen a vinyl top and paint on the car in the 10 years I've owned it.
Interiors...Legendary is considered the best available for the do-it-yourselfer. Now, here's mine...still under construction but gettin' there!

I like the blue. I thought about changing the color on mine and blue would be the color if I did. I checked with legendary and they do not make the bench seat cover. I will have to look around some more.

It's the original color. Meridian Turquoise...Looks blue sometimes and greenish others.
I think the bench seat problem has been discussed here before. Maybe ask in one of the tech forums or search it out.
