Default 67 GTO park lights

Good day all, I'm trying to fix a bug with my park lights. I have installed a AAW classic update series harness, my park lights/tail lamps work on the first pull of the switch. My signals and 4 ways work. When I put the low beams on, the park lights stay on, and I loose the front signals. I used a factory type switch instead of the one supplied. Do I have to use their supplied switch?

I have the AAW Classic Update kit in my '66. I, too, noticed that the parking lights stay illuminated when the headlights are on. I called the company and asked if it was normal and they said yes, that's how their kits are configured to operate, which is different from stock.

However, I used their supplied headlight switch and my turn signals work with headlights (and parking lights) illuminated. So, no issues in my car. My guess is that you may need to use the supplied switch. Otherwise, perhaps it is related to how you pinned the plug for your turn signal switch in the column. I recall that I had to reorder some of the turn signal switch plug wires in the AAW kit to match the switch in my column, and the wire colors weren't all the same (again, called AAW customer service and they got me straightened out).

Default Aaw

Thanks, I also called aaw, their support is fantastic. I did not change the pins on the headlight switch connector, they suggested a pin reconfigure to make it work. It's on the TDL
