I'm asking a friend who has an authentic 1970 gto ram air 3 engine if he has heat flaps . these are 5 bolt holes. 2 on each end , one in the middle if i recall right. guess we are going back and forth on this one!! at least all agree it's a 67 and 69 mis match pair. lol

Depending on your intended build manifolds are a nice option for a number of reasons.

Obviously, if you plan to lean more towards the performance side, the RARE manifolds would be a better choice.

You could sell the set you have to reduce the overall cost of replacements.

Why are you concerned over the mismatched (year) exhaust manifolds? As long as they are both RA manifolds with the same size outlets, just have them blasted, coated and put them back on. When you open the hood, they're not going to look any different than numbers matching or reproductions. Save your money for machine work and internal parts.

Can think of exactly one type/style of reproduction A-body RamAir manifolds that look so close to originals that one would have to have them off & in one's hands to note the difference.

The more I read posts in the Street Section... hard to tell if PY has become more of a joke than Pontiac FakeBook sites.
