Paul is good guy, too! He has told both of my kids that they can drive any of his cars if they'll help him clean them for a show. He really encourages the younger generation to get involved.

Here's a pic of my daughter behind the wheel of his award winning '64.

Very nice! Good to see a '68 getting some love.
What's with the '400' badges on the rocker trim?

That is quite an honor! Being a big name muscle car show. Beating out the always favored Mopars, Chevys and Fords.

Pulled out all the stops to do it....

Wow all that on a teacher’s salary. Good job. That paint scheme really is beautiful. I guess in this case that originality is not an issue. Not that it matters to me. I’d take that car in a heartbeat.

This car showed up to the Syracuse Nats a few years ago. I don't know why everyone is so goo goo over this or why it won anything. The panel and trim fitment is horrible.

it's only about a 1 hour drive each way (2 hour round trip) on some nice two lane blacktop with the speed limit about 45-50mph. it's really a nice cruise.

Yeah, I thought that was a full size and Lemans Sport thing. Also, article says #96 Round Port heads, I thought #96's were D Ports.

I think the car is a fantasy piece and not a restoration what with the Royal Bobcat two-tone and Hurst wheels and all.

Yeah, I thought he kind of alluded to that when he called it 'pieced together'.
Chief, I'm kind of ga-ga over it because, as Frank hinted at...'68s NEVER get any love!...lol

Pretty car. Looks nice to me. Congrats to the owner on the win.

Side note: I wish I had the means to own 13 show quality GTOs. That dude is living the life.
