Hello All,
Thought I would give some credit to Jeff as this man knows his stuff. Just installed a Holley that he put together for me and must say it was worth the wait. This will make any off the shelf carb seem ridiculous.
Thanks Jeff

Default Shout out to SHAKER455

When I purchased my 72 TA, I was having bog issues. Jeff contacted me via PY and we met up locally. He took one look at my carb (visually on the car) and told me that it was an issue. The previous owner had purchased the carb from a rebuilt factory in NJ and it was junk. He also recommended checking the curve on the newly rebuilt distributor as well which turned out to be way off. If all this work wasn't enough, Jeff took the time to walk me through setting up the carb and distributor once he was finished rebuilding them. My carb runs like a champ and runs better than any carb car I have ever owned. Throttle response rivals any FI car!

If you need carb or distributor service, Jeff is your guy!

Jeff did mine and a recurve like 6 years ago, It hasn't been touched since and drives like fuel injection, just like Cliff says !!
Imagine that, a Q jet, untouched in 6 years... I love leaving my hood down!!

I just got back my 750 vacuum secondary Holley carb from Jeff Esmel aka Shaker455. He set it up for my 70 GTO conv. That has a stock 70 400 in it. I had him remove the choke hardware and choketower also. Very happy with the performance and look of the carburetor. Money well spent.

I didn't have him do a carb yet but just got my distributor back. What a difference unbelievable. He was even able to set the same dist up for another motor I have where all I have to do is change weights .

Yeah, Jeff is a great guy, I second that, and has patience beyond what I have in many areas! Heh-heh!

HT Mike - Pretty done with the 442, was nice seeing you on my way to the Power Tour! My LeMans is in the body shop, cloning a 70 Judge with it, I'm hoping to have it back in a few weeks. Hope your projects are coming together!

You did a nice job with that 442. Too bad I wasn't able to do the Power Tour. Especially going through Knoxville. No doubt that 70 will be a looker. Keep us informed.

I can vouch for Jeff`s work as well. he set my carb up 3000 miles away and when I received it and put it on, the car ran great straight away, best it`s ever idled and ran. then I broke the crank so never got to use it much :-(
