The GTO got the full dip yesterday and turned out perfect.
Glasurit at $ 850/gal was well worth it |

Those underneath the headlight pieces should be black.
So should the ribs in the scoop. Paint looks great. |

Headlights extensions are body color
Only 1 plant painted them black and it looks ridiculous Hood insert will be painted black once it gets reassembled |

How you been Phil?
The car is still at my painters. He re hung the doors after he painted and next he will water sand and buff the whole car with the exception of the hood and fenders They will go on next month once the paint is really cured and hard. All the edges will be taped up too do no chips or accidents occur. I bought and installed a new engine wiring harness when I test fired my engine on the frame I went through the whole instrument cluster wiring and looks good I have a new tail light harness I will install once I begin re assembly I will need a few accessory harnesses too like radio dial light, under dash light and trunk light I really am itching to get the car back soon and begin to put back together The first step I am dreading but needs to be done is the dash, wiring and all the A/C work Thanks for checking in Phil |

I am already upside down on the car but I really enjoy restoring GTOs and know them pretty well by now since this is my fourth one.
Values on these cars have dropped due to the resto mod craze but I still enjoy doing it for the fun more then the money |

There is very little orange peel and no dirt whatsoever .
Most likely start off with 2000 grit. |
