Had a new post '67 which my father sold while I was at sea. My wife bought me a replacement in 1994 for our 25th wedding anniversary. Post cars are not for everyone. I've heard people say my car must be a clone because of the post. I didn't choose the car because of its potential resale value. I chose it because it recreated my college years, and had the minimum requirements of being a 4sp with p/s. It also has a/c and p/b, and no console. When was the last time you saw any '67 without a console. So each to his own. It's a numbers matcher for whatever that is worth. BTW when my wife looked into the car after not seeing one for 20+ years, she said "if you had this 20 years ago I would have had a lot less sore ass". Of all the memories to come back.....

As a hardtop and convertible GTO owner, but driver of plenty of post GTO's in the past, I can say that although I like the appearance of the hardtop, the post cars always drive much tighter and feel way more solid with less wind noise. They are a much stiffer car, which is a big plus when driving.
