Default 66 GTO tail light louver trim

Question on 66 GTO tail light louvers. When installing the stainless trin does it basically just push on or is there a special trick? Can it be installed with out removing tail lights?

The stainless louver trim just clips onto the taillights when you push them on. If you look at the taillights, you will see that they have ridges that the trim is meant to clip onto. You don't need to remove the taillights to install the louver trim.
