Not a whole Pontiac, but random Pontiac sighting none the less.

Yesterday I was driving down a road that I drive probably 5-10 times a week, and have for the last 20 years. This time though, something caught my eye. The road runs parallel to I-84 and has a small stream in between. There on the other side of the stream was a 1968 Pontiac hubcap. Recognized it with just a glance. I wonder how I never noticed it before? The center lucite isn't even faded! I wonder if it's been buried along the interstate for decades and was just uncovered by erosion from recent rains?

I found the same hubcap late last year on a bicycle ride...they had been working on the road in that area and the hubcap had been hidden, probably for years. I stopped and hid the hubcap and came back for it later with the car. Now I have 7 of these and don't need any of them. I couldn't let it sit there in the woods.

The first picture I saw on the road 67 like the hood tach

The other 3 pulled up to my driveway
The white Catalina car is a 400 4-SPD
The 68 GTO 400 Auto
The 74 is 350 4-SPD original owner

I’m on a corner and they see the formula so they stopped by in the last 6 months

Kinda neat '68 Tempest at the tire shop this morning. Virtually no rust under the vinyl top - a testament to the California weather. White/Black/Teal interior. Black plates, OHC 6, automatic on the column, bench seat, a/c and rally gauges(!). Must have been tagged in the front at some point given the '69 GTO emblems on the fenders.

Well not the sweetest ride in town but glad to see someone loved it enough to buy it rather then part it down/out.
It was on CL earlier in the year looking for a home.

It was in getting a fuel pump today. The guy at the shop said the owner is slowly fixing it back up. Pretty clean car overall. Admittedly, I kinda wanted the rally gauges out of it.
