I was wondering if any has diagrams or measurements were they are exactly to go? I was just reading in high performance a goy with an orbit orange Judge was dinged because of his fan sticker. I just want to do it right the first time. Thanks ahead of time!!! Darrell

Darrell

My RA IV Judge is a low mileage original paint car. The only decals under the hood are the keep your GM car all GM air cleaner decal and the emissions decal on the core support. I have an OK-3 ink stamp on the pass side head. A WW paper decal on the block and a black XC ink stamp on the alternator. I hope this helps.

Mike

Darrell,

Here are two pics of my untouched lower RA pan. Hope it helps. Notice the the text under "Keep your GM car all GM" it is red, the repros are blue the last time I saw one.

I had to look at my RAIII Judge. I didn't see a decal on the lower pan. But when I looked closer there was evidence of something was there once.

gtoric,

My Judge was built at the Pontiac , MI plant with a build date of 01B. Darrell, the blue GM decal is that the foil one or are you speaking of an underhood decal?

I believe the square blue foil GM decal goes in the driver's side door jamb, mounted to the door. I can't seem to find a picture of it installed, but I'm 99% sure that's where it goes.

Ken, maybe on a '68. But, I don't believe they were used on the '70. If someone has one that is original please let me know.
Darrell, did the kit also come with the 400-4V air cleaner decal, all the eBay cars have them?

your right on the money about the foil decal the only decal on the driver's door was the blue conformance decal that has the build month and year and VIN. I can't stand that 400-4v decal and another one is the fan decal what are these people reading?

Hmm. The PY Catalogs lists that blue decal used from '67-70 and the Ames catalog lists is as '67-'72. Maybe some cars got them and others didn't. There isn't any evidence of one ever being on my '68 either, but I always see them in the door jamb on restored cars. You guys would know better than I since you actually own '70s.

Couldn't agree with you more RAIVJudge. That air cleaner assembly cubic inch/carb bbl indicator applique is a Chebby thing that snuck into our engine compartments when no one was looking. They have to go! I saw several on cars displayed at the GTOAA convention last month.
