'68 Lemans convert parked by my mother in law's house in Sacramento. 350, white buckets, column shift, AM/FM and an in dash tach. Would be a ton better without that bumper strip down the side.

More "Super Slab" sightings
So…like most here that reside in Metro areas, exotic vehicle sightings on the streets is an every day thing. Again, when Mrs and I were enjoying yesterday’s mid-70s weather exercising in the park; I didn’t take any photos of the Audi R8 Roadster, Ferrari roadsters & coupes, Maseratis, MBs, Vettes, etc. No big deal…same old (and new) stuff.
However; on our trip back home leaving the park, the sound of a wailing exotic could be heard but not seen. It was so very close, one could hear the driver keeping the Revs Up and staying in the power band…in the 40mph zone, at the intersection traffic light stop, and then onto the SW Fwy. Galleria area… But what and where was the harmonious sound coming from? Below is what suddenly “popped out” into view from in front of the SUV (in front of us the whole time) as we both entered the Fwy: |

Saw this late 60's - early 70's Chevy idling in the parking lot of the local hardware store. It had a 350 badge on the fender and a tiny (2 inch?) single exhaust. It was idling as smooth as can be. Oh and its 6 deg F today.

Also in probably my most odd spotting
I was at a local junk yard helping my buddy pull out a front end out of a police cruise crown vic for a Ford sport truck he is building, and when we are walking into the junk yard I spot this: I thought, "NAH its a fake kit car" I get closer and see the flat V-12, and then I knew it was an original, its in pretty rough shape, but nothing that cant be fixed

I wanted to go take pictures of the Chevelle too, but the guy working there came out of nowhere and said "WHAT DO YOU WANT"

I came across these while delivering parts to different shops in the area. The The gold Trans Am is a one owner car that has not been restored. You can see the faded paint on the trunk spoiler. The GTO is in rough shape and not running due to an electrical problem. It may or may not be for sale. And, the Studebaker truck I know nothing about.
