You can fit a P275 or 28 x 11.5 ET Street w/ the right backspace. You did not have enough B-S.

i think i like the bare look the best, followed by the early flat trim rings.never really liked the rounded trim rings, took them off all the cars i had with them;73 TA,74TA,78TA.

Here are a couple pics of the rear you asked for.Sorry about the quality, the car is in paint and i just threw a back tire on a snapped a couple pics. Its tight in the garage and i cant move the car because its on jackstands. You can see where i had to mod the seatbelt hump for the tire to clear. Its the biggest tire i could get in there without mini-tubbing.

I'd only run a 10" wide tire on the 10" rim, so would not need to mod as much. You might have just convinced me I need a big 10 inch......rim. |

This is an older pic, but the only I have at the moment. This is with 2" drop spindles, which I replaced with 'regular height' spindles, and adjusted the spring, which gave me about 1.5" higher ride than shown. It was too slammed, and the geometry was boogered. FYI, never use drop spindles....
ROH RTs 18x9.5 front, 5.17 BS, 265/35s 18x10.5 rear, 5.95 BS, 285/35s I can squeeze a 295/305 out back, maybe a 315, but finding matching tires for the front is an issue. If I would have gotten a little more offset in the front, I could have done a 275. Rolled lips and trimmed inner fenders. 255s would go without the fender & inner treatment.

Sporter, how much backspace are you running with the 275/50 M/Ts?
Hey Stroked, That wouldn't happen to be a 944T in the background would it? I had a 944TS, one of the Silver Rose cars. |
