Body/Frame Bushings...What's The Diff'?
Looking for replacement bushings for my '73 Grand Am and have come across what is likely the same part, from 3 different vendors, with 3 vastly different prices.
The first one is from The Parts Place @ $264: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1973-77-GM-...wAAOSwTuJYpfJ8 Next up is OPGI @ $145.99: https://www.opgi.com/chassis-suspens...s-g240628.html Last up is what is claimed to be a Parts Place part, from a company I've never heard of, for $99: https://www.qnostar.com/index.php?ma...ucts_id=686551 What the hell is going on here?

I can't say with any certainty without knowing who the actual manufacturer of each product is, but if I had to guess, I'd say there is a chance that comes down to quality (has nothing to do with country of origin). I have bought no-name budget rubber bushings for a car in the past that failed within weeks of being installed, so clearly not all bushings are created equal.
Given the choices you listed above, I'd probably go with those offered by OPGI. There's no way of knowing if they are different than the other two options, but if you did have a problem, at least there is an established company to work with. Their body bushings tend to be highly reviewed as well, so that's a good sign. I bought one of their kits for my '66, although I haven't installed them yet.

I have bought a lot of parts from OPGI. Some are good & others not so much. I can tell you for a fact that they DO NOT post bad reviews of their products. I bought a 67 gto dash pad & it's at least 2 inches too short. I sent it back & they said that's how all of them are. I showed them a pic of it next to a factory pad & on even of the dash frame to show them how short it was. They told me they have never had any complaints & that's how it is. I posted a bad review on their website which they never posted. I then started to look at other parts & guess what, no bad reviews. So I posted on yelp which they can't stop. So be careful of their parts reviews.

Besides the fact their prices are 20% higher than most vendors. Lots of overhead I guess.
I do buy from them from time to time but they're usually my last choice.

bushings
The first set for $264 and the last set for $99 are both a Parts Place parts with the same part number HB2132Z
Now that's capitalism. Need to read the ads carefully. Billk |

Same part number and claimed supplier, but there is no way to confirm if they are actually the same part or if they come from the same factory, etc.

I find things on Ecklers that are the same for Pontiacs even though they usually don’t list them as such.
Check these out. https://www.ecklers.com/1973-1977-gm...-199420-1.html Ecklers is a trusted vender and they have a 5yr. warranty if you had any issues.
