Default Lower hose with aftermarket radiator?

OD of the outlet on a stock radiator for my 73 LeMans is 1.5625" (1 9/16) . The ID of the lower hose is 1.55" and normally, they fit together just fine.

The problem is my aftermarket rad uses a 1.75" outlet. I'm currently using a new NAPA 7592 hose, and while it takes some doing, I can get it over the outlet, but it stretches so badly, it will surely present a problem in short order.

Anyone have a better hose that might work?

I thought I might have ordered the wrong radiator, but I see C&R and Be Cool use that size outlet on a lot of their units that are drop in for these cars.

My guess is I need an adapter to step down the hose.
