Possibly a driveshaft broke and tore through it?

On my 70 gto, when I pulled the rear seat out, I noticed a couple scallop shaped divots/holes in the floorpan.
WTH is all that? Talked to the guy I bought it from….oh yeah, we blew the rear u joint a couple times.

Keep in mind, 2nd gens have a tendency to have their' floor pans sag. If you look from the rear of the car thru the back glass at the head rests, if they are tilted towards each other, the floor pan is sagging.
You can correct it by putting a 2x4 on a jack and jack the center of the floor pan up. If it is being difficult, you can stand on a rocker with the door open to add more leverage. I know how it sounds, but it is an issue with 2nd gens. Some other body styles too. A broken engine & trans mount together can cause a similar condition. .
