Yep, tomorrow I will trade in my 04 for an 05.
I got a deal that I could not refuse.
Originally I traded my 02 WS6 TA for the 04 and now I will go one step higher.
I test drove the 05 today.... even though it is an A4 compared to my current 6 speed the difference was phenominal.
Let me tell you, I was a little bit wary of how much better the 05 could be but WOW! the acceleration is terrific.
I can't wait to pick up my Quicksilver/Black A4 tomorrow.
The land of enlightenment is just around the corner.

Absolutely great! I couldn't believe the extra acceleration either. Congrats Ozzy!

Cograts Ozzy ! I had the use of a '05 for about a week last fall, and I found the '05 to be a good improvement over my '04, especially as indicated by my seat-o-the pants meter !

Sorry it took so long to reply. I have just been having so much fun with my new toy!
My wide grin is a permenant feature nowadays.
After all the incentives and coupons that I had it came to just a tad over 28K.
Now, what other car could compete with the quality and performance of the 05 at that price? I can think of none until you reach the mid 40's and beyond!
Thank you Pontiac for bringing back the Great One.

Excellent deal you got there ozzy. Congrats again on your new car. I know you were up bright and early this morning removing last night's bugs and dust (and rubber from your rear wheel wells) just so you could go for another joyride. Tell the truth. You were, weren't you?
Oh, by the way.

Yep, you are absolutely correct.

Very nice! I wish front plates weren't required here. The nose looks so much better without a bracket cluttering it up.

They are required where I live here in TX but it seems that the cops do not enforce it. This will be the 4th car I have had without front plates in the past 8 years and I have had no problems. You should see how many people drive around without front plates in my city!
I do agree with you though... it does look much better without them....I guess the cops enforce them more in your area?

See you got the fastest color this time, Quicksilver. Congrats, I love that color. I too, have not installed the front license plate on my '04. The front tag is im my trunk and I have not been bothered about it either. Guess one day I'll inevitably have to do so.

Front plates not required here either. I'm surprised that your wife didn't trade her 'stang in on the '04.

I gave her the option of which car to trade. She loved the 04 but I guess she loved her convertible even more!

$28,000 not bad. I would probably have a hard time resisting at that point, but not having "coupons" or such, it would cost me $30,200 or so right now . . .
About $900 a month in payments, maybe $700 if I were to stretch it out to 4-5 years . . .

Excellent car! Now just add a lock up converter and Nitto's and you'll be in the mid 12's.
Very nice looking car.
