I`m missing one of the plastic main well tubes. Only remember 1 when I dis-assembled carb. Are they both absolutely necessary? Car is 73 Catalina.

http://forums.performanceyears.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif for the car to run smooth you would want both sides of the carb feeding fuel the same way, so to answer your question: Yes you should have both tubes.
