1968 GP brake conversion

i've got a 68 grand prix and i was wondering if i could swap out the front drums for disc brakes from another GM car. i've been looking for aftermarket kits to do it and no one makes jack for a 68 or older GP. can someone please guide me in the right direction? your knowledge and help would be much apprreciated.

Only late 68-70 full size Pontiacs will have the parts to make the best disk conversion. The 67-early 68 brakes are expensive and lack parts to make it worth while. Good luck Pat

what exact parts would i need and what would be the best or most common 68-70 pontiac to pull them from? is it possible to get the parts from a later model pontiac and if so, which way (68-70 or later model) would be easier?

Is working on a disk set up that will use modern parts.

Other wise you will need to look at 68-70 full size cars. Bonneville, Executive, Catalina, Ventura, and GPs. Hope this helps.

You need the booster master cyl front brake lines spindles calipers rubber hoses and will have to go to 15 inch disc wheels.
A week after I put mine on I was 4th in a 3 car accident and a 4 wheel disc Honda had to change lanes to keep from hitting me in the rear.
