bought my 69 gto with a chevy gm goodwrench 350 http://forums.performanceyears.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_mad.gifbut was under the impression it had 350 horse but just found out it only has 260 http://forums.performanceyears.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_confused.gifis there any way to get cheap hp until the 455 is done or just not waste my time

I agree the cheby engine is not worth the time or money.

i was thinkin that but havent even started the 455 cause it will prob cost in the 2000 to 2500 range

I don't have a barnstorming 400 in my lemans, but it does sound and run good enough for me for a total of $1300.00 in the motor, even a bone stock 455 should be ample power in a early f-body. But as all have said save your money and wait.
