I cant believe it I got a carb from E-bay (Tomco rebuild) I knew that it would need some work. Guy said it was a 7043266 quadrajet. I got it and it was a 7044268. The box said it was a 7043266 but it was not. I contacted the guy and he called me a liar. Said they never had a 7044268. and that I was lying and he could not do anything about it. So I took another carb i got ripped off for on E-Bay used the base from this carb on that body 7043266 and was able to make a good workable quadrajet. The other carb had a early model 1970 base. The sad part about E-Bay is that when you leave negative feed back on this person they will retaliate and do the same to you even though you did nothing wrong.
