A few months ago we decided to purchase and install a lift in our shop. Cliff is simply getting to old to lay under cars these days pulling transmissions in and out, installing custom exhaust systems, etc.
Anyhow, I saw the add above and decided to purchase one. Price is very attractive, and we wanted a lift big enough to lift the shop truck.
I opted for the large version, which will handle quad cab pick-ups, Suburban's, etc.
I placed an order back in the last week of October. My credit card was charged and after several weeks we did not have our lift. I made an inquiry and they said it was back-ordered.
Waited 2 more weeks, they told us they would have one shipped from another warehouse.
Waited 2 more weeks and they said they were still our of stock on them, sorry for the confusion.
Well, about 10 days ago Deb calls them up, she's a lot more DIRECT than I am. She tells them to provide a tracking number or credit my account and we'll get one someplace else.
They immediately sent us a tracking number, but the lift still did not show up, and the tracking number didn't show anything on the shipping companies website.
Anyhow, we waited another week, which was last Monday and the shipper showed the lift to be in route.
It showed up and we put it up over the past couple of days. It was well worth the wait. This is one HEAVY DUTY lift, we had to use chain falls and the engine hoist to move the parts around during installation (total weight 2100lbs). The instructions were next to useless, it's one of those things that is better if you just lay out the parts and figure it out yourself.
Anyhow, we are very pleased with the end result, despite having to wait 7 weeks to get it. The final cost with shipping was $2995.
I can't be overly enthusiastic about recomending the company after our experience, but at least we did get the product, no parts missing or damaged, and it is a very good lift at an exceptional price......Cliff
