I just want to point out that Scott had the pulley and the starter bolts I needed shipped out the next day and that was before I paid him that night.
Got the parts last night and was pleasantly surprised. Exactly what I needed.
Thanks again Scott!!

Scott, I didn't know you were working a Black 69 Judge. Thought you were working a 70.
Anyway, hope you built a good TH400. HIS

Hi
yah ....... workin on a 69 Starlite Judge 4 speed car tad rusty... May Build ....
correct trans and 355 nodular rear WS is a 68 but the right heads n intake n stuff...
and a 68 GTO 4 speed convert super dry car NOM NOTrans NORear .......
wish I had a 70 ....... had a pair of 455 cars in the 80's both matching
white w/black guts ...1 ram air 1 not....wasnt into GTOs thenhad my 68 then
but I had 442's then 70 W-30 4 speed 433 car ,69 w-31, and a 68 W-30,
at the same time for a while ..... 70 GTO's were parts cars to me then,
pulled the 4 speed from 1 of the 70's to replace the 70 W-30 trans when I
scattered thetranny all over the freeway at 50-55 mph shiftinto third
and the bellhousing split in half left to right and when I pushed the clutch pedal down
the tranny pushed back and the input shaft fell into the 3 finger pressure plate
and everything imploded.. pulled my hand on the Hurst T handle down into the
plastic Olds console and busted 2 fingers b4 I let go and the tranny hit the pavement..
driveline fell out and pogo sticked into the asphalt and shot me across 3 lanes of 405
evening traffic into the median ... my m22 driveline and shifter all scattered
over 3 lanes of traffic........
whew........ broke the drivers motor mount and exaust manifold ..my ram air plastic
442 air cleaner smashed into the original glass hood busted it up ..
cracked it by the hood pins from the upward pressure....... no battery hold down
the battery jumped out and welded itself to the frame ... motor was still coughing and
running I remember and the electric windows had no power now and elec locks
didnt work either and the burnt oil smell never left the interior of the car
so I bought the pair of 70's for the trannys for 850.00 in '85 ........
sold the rest for 1000.00
my story of my only 70 GTO's
