- After HS graduation, I spent the first summer watching a wrench at the country club I worked at rebuild a '67 hardtop. I got "hooked in" to 66-67's when he took me for the first spin of the freshly rebuilt 400. Open headers, In primer, no hood, no interior We were both sitting on milk crates!! When he dumped the clutch, we both flew right back to the trunk. Should of killed us both.
