I have got a chance to pick up a 428 crankshaft with .030 428 pistons, rods and bearings. I have a 455 motor that I want to swap the 428 crank and pistons into to create a 433, which will rev higher than a 455. Planning to use in a street motor. Has anyone done this lately and what are your experiences making the swap?
I got a 1974 Ventura, built in fall of 1973, with a 350 made in fall 1973. I haven’t pulled the stock #46 heads but I am wondering if this block has chamfered cylinders? I have a set of 69.5cc #48 heads and would like to mount them on this 1974 motor.
