The fear is dust and waking up to a mess when we open at 10. For folks who’ve done after-hours installs, what actually fits into a clean evening window, and what should wait for a Sunday? Any gotchas with smells/adhesives curing overnight?

We just did this in a gallery space last month. Clean evening wins were door gasketing with a drop seal (about an hour per door), pre-measured window inserts (install night is quick if you measured earlier), and hanging fabric panels on Z-clips. Not answering directly, just a thought from another retail manager: splitting the scope by noise/dust saved us. “Quiet” evening tasks = seals, inserts, panel hanging, masking setup, touch-up caulk. “Loud” weekend tasks = any core drilling, ceiling anchors, or cutting. Reserve the freight elevator, bag/cover racks, and block 30 minutes for a final wipe-down so the shop feels normal at open.
