The whole column assembly has to come out of the car, but it sounds more difficult than it actually is.

It's pretty simple in the end. There aren't that many parts inside the column, and nothing...

15/40 non synthetic diesel oil of your choice (whatever is cheap). There's a good amount of detergent in them to slowly clean things up internally but no so much (like an engine flush) that it causes...

I used SD's Old Faithful cam 236/245/112 in my last 455 at 11.3 to 1 compression. It was pretty "tame" at idle making 13.5" vacuum at 750rpm's with only 10 degrees initial timing. Fine on pump gas...

7/8" master cylinder and go smaller (3/16") on brake line to the rear is my advice going manual. Manual works great when set up right.

Not really because the 421 block has a pretty robust casting compared to the 389s. However that much overbore kind of diminishes the value to a certain extent. When I bought my 421 it was standard...

Standard bore size is 4.09375” for the 421.

4.120” is standard bore for the 428.

4.160” is +.040” for the 428 pistons so you’re poking that 421 .06625” over which seems excessive unless the...

I've been really happy with the Eastwood manifold coating in spray cans. It lasted longer than the powder coating I had done and is easy to touch up if you need to.
