How was fall weather where your at?

Not you southerner guys ;)

Was one the nicest warmest can remember last 10 years here just south of Lake Michigan.
10-15 degrees above normal. 60's and even 71-72 a few times.
Only had frost 3-4 times so far.
Know that's changing this weekend. High teens/low 30's with 100% chance of snow.

Not 20/20 11-19-2015 06:41 PM

I really hope it's not gonna be as bad as they think it may be ...

craigs69 11-19-2015 06:45 PM

It has been really wet with above average temperatures up here in northern Wisconsin, until today. This past Sunday was sunny and 65 degrees. All week has been rainy with temps in the lower 50's until a cold front moved in last night. Winter blew in today with below freezing temps, steady 30 mph winds, and blowing snow. The 10 day forecast is still showing slightly higher than normal temps, but nothing like we have been seeing so far this month.

Old Goat Racer 11-19-2015 06:46 PM

Not bad in Southern Il. either. Nice enough to put 65 miles on the Blue 1 today.

Deadhead 11-19-2015 06:55 PM

Extremely mild, which has been a Godsend for me (moving and renovating simultaneously). Heck, I am pouring 12 yards of concrete for a garage tomorrow to take full advantage. The weirdest part here is that every species of tree dropped all of their leaves over a period of about 5-7 days. That never happens. Typically beeches and white oaks still have leaves on them when there is snow on the ground in January-Feb.

beemergary 11-19-2015 07:18 PM

Best I can remember in the thumb of Mi. Set a temp. record a few weeks back. The tree colors were really short this year. Not good for the deer hunters. Still have some plants with flowers. Weird

indymanjoe 11-19-2015 07:28 PM

In the last month me and the wife have put 1000 miles on the Lemans.Weekend cruising up north and back day trips.Love this weather!I hate driving at night so weekends are our time to drive the car.Until the salt hits the road we plan on more driving.Hopefully the snow on its way wont be enough for the salt trucks to roll out.

Stuart 11-19-2015 07:37 PM

Very mild in Minneapolis, until finally today - it only got up to about 34 degrees F and there was scattered snow flurries. Even so, that's pretty typical for this time of year so it's no big deal.

The amazing thing was from Labor Day until this last week, pretty much every single weekend was especially nice...it would cool down and/or rain mid-week, but every Saturday and Sunday would be sunny and warm.

Ron Landis 11-19-2015 07:50 PM

Grrreat!!!

here in Central Ohio...similar to yours. Been riding the Harley pretty regularly...first time in years I've been able to ride in November. Just mowed the grass again the other day...looks like a golf course in May! Don't recall it being this green this late...ever. Not a bad place to live...all things considered. GTO just got tucked away today but I have the Avalanche and the Jeep Wrangler...so I don't see myself snowbound or anything. I've worked outdoors in Ohio for most of my life so I know to dress for it. Actually don't mind winter except for what it does to my arthritis. It is what it is.

jusjay 11-19-2015 08:51 PM

82 today warm in the sun, cool in the shade. More the same the next 4 days!

Hitman 11-19-2015 09:08 PM

Warm and rainy. They said that this is going to be a winter to remember.

goatless 11-19-2015 09:09 PM

Took off from work a little early on Monday to go out cruisin' with the top down on the Lemans. It was that nice! :burnout:
Planning on getting some runs in at Englishtown this Sunday.
Hope it stays decent until Christmas- I've still got to get a foundation in the ground for work.

fyrffytr1 11-19-2015 11:36 PM

I feel left out being a "southern guy"! we have fall down here too! I think it will be around Dec. 12th this year! :D

carcrazy 11-20-2015 12:24 AM

Rain, rain and more rain here in Raleigh, NC

rexs73gto 11-20-2015 12:37 AM

I'm in Niles MI. which is as far as you can get in southwestern MI. before you go into IN. I'm right on the line. It's been nice for the last coupe of weeks & today it got a bit colder. It was down in the low 30's & Sat. were suppose to get 5-8 inches of snow , but were going to get 3-5 inches on Fri. of cold wet snow & that will make the other stuff stick. Winter is here & I still haven't got my wood yet to heat the house. My guy hasn't delivered any yet. It make me wince every time the heat kicks on. Plus the wood is so much warmer then the gas heat.

mechanickeith 11-20-2015 01:32 AM

38 degrees at 5 am this morning & got up to 70 this afternoon. Phoenix Az!!

RocktimusPryme 11-20-2015 02:30 AM

Ive been stationed at Ft Drum in upstate NY. Notoriously long cold winters. Im here until December, and have been begging for snow so I could get some skiiing in before I return to So Cal. All the locals are thrilled at this mild weather. But Im upset about it lol.

Apparently this time last year there was feet of snow on the ground here. Barely a flurry this year.

Formulabruce 11-20-2015 02:38 AM

was in the mid teens the other night but has been in 50's and 60's alot more than expected. That said, my NASA buddy says the jet stream has started to change for winter and to expect a mess, and more cold due to low solar flare activity. He expects the Great lakes will "freeze over solid" Again this winter ( would make 3 years in a row if it happens)
I imagine the Weather people will have more fun with "polar vortex" again.. :) hehe

tigergto 11-20-2015 07:48 AM

No winter weather yet. Some nights temps in the high 20s mostly high 30s. Day's have been mild. So far it's been a great fall.

Region Warrior 11-20-2015 12:00 PM

Sounds like everyone enjoying El Nino.

Forgot about the leaves. They where down fast.
But its been dry here, then had a some very windy days a week apart.
Only had to mulch twice vs 4-5 times.

Got out old(think its at 1995) 8HP 2stage snow blower.
Starts and runs great, but drip'n fuel out of float bowl.
And forgot to replace the skid steer cables that finally stretched to far end of last season.
Wife asked other night if it would be ready this weekend.
"Ahh...no...need to order and replace cables and fix fuel leak"
She said quit mess'n with it. You messed with it more then you used it last year. Go buy a new one!
I said "ok", like I was disappointed ;)
Then went out side and :whoo:

hoosierGP 11-20-2015 12:13 PM

It's been great here in Goshen Indiana, it could stay this way until December 24th as far as I'm concerned, and then return around January 3rd! It gives me more time to get the toys put away.

Lloyd-TX 11-20-2015 06:06 PM

In between the all too frequent flooding rains and killer tornadoes, it's been quite a nice fall season here. 60 low and 78 high today!

poncho-mike 11-20-2015 06:40 PM

I think we had one, maybe two days with lows in the 30s. I don't think I've turned on my more than twice. But the last couple of months have been wet and mild. I can't believe it's late November and I need to mow my yard this weekend. Usually the grass stops growing before it's time to rake the leaves.

TheSilverBuick 11-20-2015 07:36 PM

Fall? What Fall?

It's been a great Fall here in Delaware. But next week it'll start getting colder. At least winter doesn't last all that long here. Hopefully that goes for this year too.

Region Warrior 11-21-2015 10:55 AM

Looks like the forecast was correct. Woke up lite snow fall. 2" wet stuff when left for work at 7:30
Now HUGE fluffy flakes at 8:50. Ground not frozen yet, but cars sitting overnight have 5" on roofs.

fiedlerh 11-21-2015 02:47 PM

18" of snow in Lake County IL and it's still snowing.:gag:
Roads are nearly impassable, accidents everywhere.
And my snowblower won't start.
It was 60°F the other day.

GT182 11-21-2015 02:56 PM

I went to one of the last car shows for my area today. What a gorgeous day! Low 60s, clear sky, and just a hint of a breeze. T-shirt weather. :D

Will 11-21-2015 03:59 PM

Been windy and stormy here for the last few weeks. Last storm that came through produced winds over 100 mph on the tops of the mountains quite a bit of flooding and there are some people in outlying areas who've been without power for about a week now.

Cold snap this week then who knows? Not likely to see 60 degrees again 'til late February or March at the earliest.

WTF In the 60's and blue sky yesterday and over 6" of snow and still coming down. Was going to pull the battery etc. from GTO-etc. yesterday and said nope. I just may set a record this year for going for a ride. O WELL

Jeff Hamlin 11-21-2015 06:52 PM

How was fall...

...I'll let you know when the :censored: :censored: :censored: leaves stop falling.
:D

tom s 11-21-2015 08:48 PM

low 80s here today.Chance of rain wed and thur.Tom

flyingn 11-21-2015 09:14 PM

57 and sunny in Jersey today!

FirebirdHank 11-21-2015 09:44 PM

Not a bad day here in Green Bay today partly cloudy, normal temps . All the snow is going south. They did spread brine on the roads due to the threat of snow so the "cars" are inside until spring rains come. Sounds like warmer temps by mid week. All in all a pretty nice fall. If this is El Nino, keep it coming.

65blackplate 11-21-2015 10:28 PM

We got 10" or so of that white stuff today

Region Warrior 11-23-2015 12:03 PM

Ended up with bout 7". Then got pretty cold overnight. What wasn't removed from cars and driveway as frozen over solid. Good times....

Feels colder than a rat's @*^ with the wind blowing. Low 40s today and tomorrow for the high temps. Thursday and Friday are supposed to be 60 and 64.

Poncho60 11-23-2015 02:20 PM

14 inches here.....just barely got the Ventura tucked away for the winter on Thursday.

'ol Pinion head 11-23-2015 05:52 PM

Finally got our first freeze, Sunday night.
Up in the mid 60's today, golf course weather this AM.
100% chance of rain on Turkey day, then it gets colder, might even get some sleet :(

hurryinhoosier62 11-27-2015 06:19 PM

TYPICAL S. FL fall....80s and rain

Jack Gifford 11-28-2015 03:12 AM

A large number of nice days here this fall. Thanksgiving day was sunny and pleasant, up to about 60 degrees.

02Hawk 11-28-2015 03:16 AM

We had flowers in the yard the first 10 days of November. I have never seen that in my life. Normally there is snow on the ground for Halloween.

We had our first snowfall here this past Monday...about 8 inches but it is supposed to be in the 40's this weekend.....cars are all tucked in now

JSPONT 11-28-2015 10:28 AM

Long Island NY

It has been real mild, I love global warming! Thanksgiving, and Friday were in the 60's. No jacket in the end of November is weird. Mid 50's today. I love this and hope we skip winter this year, :)

GT182 11-28-2015 04:48 PM

It's been T-shirt weather here during the day since Nov 25th. :D

gary bennett 11-28-2015 06:13 PM

72 here mid day today in SC

hurryinhoosier62 11-28-2015 09:59 PM

Beautiful night down here. Upper 70s, a little humid but a nice breeze off the Atlantic.

Tellyshavilli 12-03-2015 11:32 AM

Last year over 8 feet of snow in november , this year 0 . We also broke record for least amount of precipitation for the month .

mechanickeith 12-03-2015 11:53 AM

all of this week temps have been in the mid 30's in the morning. Warming up to low/mid 60's.
