Looks familiar, I'm waiting on my block, crank rods, and my heads. IT'S KILLING ME!!! I'm trying to use the down time to detail my engine compartment/frame and stuff but motivation is down without a powerplant. Did you convert from power brakes? I would like to do that to my T/A.

Thanks for posting the pic,I was wondering which side the taller engine frame mount went on.I have to install the frame mounts in my 70 race car and was not sure,they had a BBC in it before and I did'nt remember which side they came off of the donor car(its frame was cut up like a jigsaw puzzle.I got you beat too,I have two lonely engine bays,but only for a short time.First the lemans/GTO racecar.

Yes, I did convert to manual brakes from power. Wilwood Mopar style aluminum MC.

On the brakes, Is that it? Just bolt on the new master? How much? Thanks alot!

I had to modify the mounting flange on the MC, as the Mopar style bolt pattern is slightly more narrow. I just drilled and filed the holes carefully to fit. I had to bend lines for the proportioning valve. I still need to fab a mounting bracket for the valve, but yeah, that's about it. The Wilwood unit was nice because it cam with the pushrod, so I didn't have to make one. I reused the clevis, and moved the pushrod to the upper hole on the pedal arm. I have not been to the track yet, but I'll report. Cost was about $115.00 or so for the MC.

The drivers side is the tall one, on all 64-72 Pontiac A bodies.

Brian, the Wilwood # for the kit is 260-4894, and the # for just the MC is 260-4893.

I'm just waiting on the shipping amount from the Dude for my shortblock, then I can proceed! Got the whole fuel system to plumb, the motor has to go together, get mocked up with trans to measure for driveshaft....etc...

I've bitten off almost more than I can chew.

I don't feel so bad now. My heads are in the machine shop as we speak. When I ge those back it's 462 Blower motor, Hopefully, if nothing else goes wrong.
