Do the 71 thru 76 pontiac Honeycombs have a washer before the lug nut ? I purchesed a set of lugs but are still shallow on the wheel.

Thank you

Nope - the honeycomb wheels use the same stainless capped tapered seat lug nuts that the Rally II wheels use.

The lug nut hole on the rim may be reamed out by excessive use of an impact wrench. It happens a lot on Rally II rims. I've seen them so bad that the lug nut is pulling through.

My solution was to get some McGard bulge lug nuts that appear close to the factory stainless capped acorn lug nuts.

I'm running into the same problem with my KR Rally II's.The standard stainless capped acorn style lug nuts keep ridding deeper into the wheels and this forces the cap to slip upwards off of the lug nut.I've been going through lug nuts like crazy. Where's the best place to find the McGard lug nuts?

Don't know where to find the McGards, but just wanted to say "Welcome Aboard" Jim! If I go way out on a limb, I'd venture a guess that you're of the same "clan" as Rocky? The more Pontiac expertise available to the rest of us the better!!
