Before I start this 12" rotor/B-body spindle conversion, can anyone tell me if the 15" Rally II rims fit within the 12" rotor & caliper? Just don't want to get the conversion done, and then find out I need new rims after the fact. Thanks.

The 15X7 Rally IIs came on the B-body cars, so yes they will fit.

I put the 15X7s on my own car with B-body spindles/12" disc conversion, so I know they work.

Sweeeeeeet. How do you like the 12" fronts? I just finished the rear disc, and it made quite an improvement. Hoping for a bit more stopping power. You know... LA traffic and all that shiz.

The car ('64 Tempest) stops like crazy, mine are manual (no power booster). http://pysales.com/images/evil.gif

Of couse before the conversion it had drum brakes up front. But I can compare it to my '64 GTO which has 11" front discs from a '69 GP and big 11" Ford drums out back (has a Ford 9" rear end), also manual brakes.

The Tempest definitely stops better, even with the 9-1/2" stock rear drums.

Cool beans.
When is the next time you're running 1/4 miles up in Lancaster/Palmdale? I've been meaning to get up there for the Pontiac drags, but househunting & work keeps piling up.

PDD is racing at LACR Palmdale today.
