I've got a 66 lemans that I'm trying to remove the wiper arms on and I'm not having much luck. I'm trying to work the tab on the underside with a small scewdriver but they won't let go. Would anybody let me in on the trick? Thanks

Once you released the small tab under the wiper arm , lay a rag folded over a couple of times on the cowl grille . Then using a small screwdriver , pry up on the arm , it will pop off . Try to do this without scratching or denting the cowl grille panel . Sometimes you can grab the wiper arm and wiggle it off by hand , it all depends on how long the wiper arms have been on .

Do I push the tab away from the post?

There is a wiper removal tool available.
I think I saw it in Year One or Ames.
