I drove 35 miles to the chassis dyno yesterday and put down 730 RWHP. This was on 110 octane fuel with open pipes. Last year it made about 600 RWHP on pump gas and ran a 10.58 sec quarter mile. I should have new quarter mile times in a few weeks.

Some specs:

463 cubic inches
two T04B 60-1 turbos
Water/Air intercooler
FAST fuel injection
Victor intake
Eagle rods
custom JE pistons
steel 4-bolt mains

Fascinating upper-hose route.
Fascinating Air cooler.

What Heads & Piston dish?

76TA428 06-22-2005 10:31 AM

That is one of the most impressive turbo setups I have ever seen. Happen to have any more pictures with closer detail?

dutch injun 06-22-2005 10:53 AM

Awesome. I love that radiator hose!

WHERE CAN WE GET ONE?
You are quite a fabricator! The exhaust manifolds and the inner cooler look wicked.

Silver Judge 06-22-2005 12:04 PM

Holy Crap !
What a stout set up, over 700 hp at the wheels !
Bet it sounds downright evil
Like others said, the fabrication work looks great.
Do you have FAA approval ? http://forums.performanceyears.com/g...on_biggrin.gif

Polar-Pontiac 06-22-2005 12:14 PM

Quite an improvement for sure. Looks like the 60-1s did the trick. You kept your same turbines correct? At what psi did you make those numbers? How much torque?

Tom Vaught 06-22-2005 06:36 PM

Great Job, Glad the 60-1s worked like I hoped they would.

Awesome installation too. That looks like a serious water to air deal you have there.

What bricks did you use?

OK, what color are you painting the car? I want to know who NOT to pick on at the stop light. http://pysales.com/images/spank.gif

Way cool.

69v8tr6 06-22-2005 08:23 PM

Awesome power numbers. What heads and what were the boost numbers, RPM's?
What are the cam specs?

ponchospidel 06-22-2005 09:24 PM

excelent job!

GOAT8U2 06-22-2005 11:22 PM

Nice numbers, its good to see someone pull off the twin turbo set up that they made!!

Since you did a lot of the mock up yourself you should considering making that setup along with a single turbo set up on the passenger side. I am sure after seeing your numbers guys will come around to doing turbos.

What size injectors are you running?

grandville455 06-23-2005 02:08 AM

That sure is puurrrrty http://forums.performanceyears.com/g...on_biggrin.gif.....Awesome numbers too by the way!!!!!!!!!!!
