Jonas, Can you get your hands on a factory 64-66 or 67-70 cast iron 4 bbl intake and Carter AFB or Q-jet carb?
|
Running the Factory 4-bbl for a 65-66 and a AFB is a good combo. The next best is a 67-71 Q-jet and a Quad for a Pontiac 350.

Blackcat, like your two choices; but just my opinion, would flipflop the order. Reason - the smaller primary on the Q-Jet (vis-a-vis the AFB) would provide better low end velocity on the 326. Either might need a slightly richer calibration on the 326. Jon.

The two biggest problems I run across is.
Over canning. Over carboration! The Q-jet is the better choice but One has to make sure that the Jetting is for a 350. I've had people come buy with the Huge jets on the carbs and wonder where the milage went! |
