Does this look right? I'm concerned because the inlet for the vacuum hookup isn't positioned correctly. Should I flip it over and run the hose behind the MC?

what are you talking about?

the fitting's in the correct position and it should swivel in the booster housing.

The problem I'm having is it doesn't swivel. I'm afraid I'll brake it if I try forcing it.

Mike is correct...the vacuum hookup rotates 360*. I just installed a new booster in my car and it easily rotates.

Is this a new or reconditioned booster? Who did you buy it from? Sounds crazy but I saw one guy put gasket sealer on the vacuum hookup gasket "for a better seal". http://forums.performanceyears.com/g...n_confused.gif Couldn't turn that sucker for anything.

After putting a pliers onto it I was able to get it to rotate. I was afraid of snapping it off, but luckily I didn't. Not sure what was holding it. Thanks for the info everyone!
