After 3 years, I'm finally getting my GTO back together. On the wiring diagram it shows 2 black with red stripe wires attached to the rear of the altenator, one with a 30 amp fuse. I do not have that wire. On my 1966 GTO it is there. I was wondering if the wiring diagram is wrong or if it is supposed to be there. Any suggestions as this is a frame off resto. The wiring harness had been altered by the previous owner(s)

The fused one, I believe is the feed to the Blower Hi relay on a A/C car. Or at least that's what I heard. Can't seem to confirm it from the '67 schematics tho.

Sounds like you may have hit it. My 66 has air, but my 65 doesn't.

Thanx
Don
