Spraying Chassis Saver on firewall

Has anyone ever sprayed Chassis Saver to their firewall before. Don't know if will peel on smooth metal?

I sprayed mine with it, but I havent dropped the motor in it yet. If I remember correctly, I scuffed it pretty good before I coated it since I had it stripped down to bare metal.

thanks CDJr, I lost my nerve to shot it. I shot it with epoxy primer instead.:)

Well, for future reference, remember that that stuff will stick to rougher surfaces for sure...the rougher the better. From my experiences with it, the more you prep and/or clean a surface prior to coating it, the less it will adhere. I know that sounds bass-ackwards, but thats the conclusion I came to after experimenting with it. For peace of mind, Id suggest you find some scrap steel thats rusting/corroding/flaking in varying degrees, and experiment with it. I did this using a foam brush to slop it on stuff using whatever was leftover in my paint gun, just to see whatd happen lol.
