My 60 foot time show me having 937 HP!! I wish!!

HP from ET (1/4 mile) = WEIGHT * (5.825/ET)^3 is the standard accepted equation.

I think it might be for the time to get to 60 mph, instead of 60' time.

Seems pretty darned accurate to me. It's probably one of the most conservative calculators iv'e seen online, and probably one of the most realistic.

My mph indicates 610 fwhp.
My ET indicates 640 fwhp.
My 60' (1.44) indicates 633 fwhp.

I haven't seen any calculators on any web site that were accurate. On the other hand, the $8 Moroso slide rule is DEAD ON. I run within .05 of what it says every year after performance upgrades as well as a few others that have had their motors dyno'ed at BES. Now if you get your motor pumped on one of those happy dynos, all is out the window.

BILTIT a 350 RWHP means you are making 455+ HP at the flexplate! Using a driveline loss of 23% shows the 455hp. Not to shabby!

WOW, it is amazingly accurate in my combo!

*Your ET / MPH computed from your vehicle weight of 3250 pounds and HP of 321 is 12.60 seconds and MPH of 106.32 MPH.

*Your Horsepower computed from your vehicle weight of 3250 pounds and MPH of 106.54 is 323.03. (106.54 was the best MPH last season)

*Your HP is 321.11 computed from your vehicle weight of 3250 pounds and ET of 12.60 seconds

BUT, my ET and MPH are not optimized as evident by my best 60' of 1.864 and the engine nosing over at the top of 3rd gear! It will be interesting to see what it shows when I run the car next Spring.

It shows my current FWHP is 417 which sounds cool. But with the new intake, 1/2 fuel line, and 3500 converter it should make a marked improvement! JD

I must point out, (AND Mr. JOHN LANGERS WILL AGREE) These calculators and the moroso power speed calculators work their best when you totally have your suspension sorted out and are hooking well for your E.T. & M.P.H.!!!! Otherwise you're just spinning your wheels so to speak and won't get actual hard core data to go on!!! SO MAKE A PRIORITY TO GET THAT POWER TO THE GROUND FIRST AND FOREMOST!!!:cool:

Your HP computed from your vehicle ET is 905.74 rear wheel HP and 1,006.38 flywheel HP.
Your HP computed from your vehicle MPH is 805.55 rear wheel HP and 895.06 flywheel HP.

This is probably the minimal HP if the car is set up right.
This is just using the 3 inputs. No cd of the car,gears,converter,head flow,etc.

So what does your calculator say if a motor makes 976 hp and weighs 3250?

Did you stay at a fixed RPM the entire 1320? ;)
