source for angle finder to set pinion angle?
Looking for a source for an angle finder to set my pinion angle. Is 2 degrees + a good start? I am installing no hop bars AND adj up cont arms on my 72 Lemans 455,th400, 12bolt 4:10

There has been a lot of discussions on this "pinion angle" stuff on these boards. I suggest you do some in-depth research. There are a lot of variables to consider such as: street or drag driving, air bags, shocks, ride height, tire diameter, etc. |

If its not a job you plan on doing over and over, just go rent one from the auto parts store.

Don't just set the angle at the rear end. You have to consider the angle at both ends of the driveshaft to do the job correctly. Here is one of the best explanations of the procedure I've seen.
