67 Firebird Carb Parts Wanted

I am in need throttle body and float bowl from a 7027273 Q-Jet carb. My car has a Holley on it now but I have the original carb but the fuel inlet is stripped and the throttle body has a broken shaft.

While researching 7027273 I ran across this posting. Those problems with your original carb can be repaired.

I took the card to a local shop that has been rebuilding carbs for 20+ years and he wasn't too optimistic. However, he did not have any parts available to fix the affected areas either.

Can you recommend a good rebuilder?

Try and post a picture of the bad inlet and maybe one of our members can give advice. I have a '67 carb where the inlet is very thin and my carb guy says he can still salvage it. The broken throttle shaft is a minor problem unless it's rusted into the base plate. Even then I know a guy who can remove it. Is your carb a Rochester or Carter?

unless its been in the ocean for a few years that carb is worth saving.
