I installed my new springs controle arms and rims/tires this weekend

Very nice. Looks a tad high in the back, but if you're changed the rear leafs it should drop a little over time.

I agree the rear looks a little high hopefully it will drop a a bit but the tires i went with are short they are nitto nto5 275 40 17 allthe way around on the positive side no more weal hop ( also put on comp eng. tracktion bars ) hangs on in corners like it is on tracks

When the car drops a little it will look really good. nice car btw

Yeah, on a 2nd Gen I would have gone with 18s (they're closer to stock height). Maybe when you wear them out, you can upgrade to 285s. Might not fit the front, but if the backspacing is correct they should fit the rear.

There is plenty of room inthe rear but i liked the nto5 dont think they made a 285 in the 17" with the extra room i have I may try the 315 35 17 same hight but 2" wider

How are ya gonna get 315's on those 9" wide year one rims? If I remember right the 315 tires are about 11" from bead to bead, and I think the recommended minimum wheel width is 10".

well then i guess i may have to get diferent rims if I decide on the 315 /35/17 will i not
