Power Wire for AC Compressor
 

Ok so I have hooked up the AC except for the power wire that runs to the compressor. The 10 gauge wire I have running to the AC wiring harness, and I didn't mess with any of the other connections when I pulled the motor.

I looked at an original wiring diagram to try and figure out where the compressor power wire runs, and I am kind of lost. It shows that it plugs into a two prong connector on the compressor, which I have. But I can't seem to figure out where the green wire coming from the compressor is supposed to go. Looking at the wiring diagrams it looks like it runs to the intake? But that doesn't sound correct.

Any help would be great guys!

there's a two prong plug at the back of the engine by the right head. The wires come off there along the right side of the intake, the small wire goes over to the compressor from there and the large power wire goes across the front of the engine to the Alternator with an in line fuse. The two prongs on the compressor, one is the feed wire and the other just loops ground to the back side of the compressor bracket.

This is the connector I currently have wire coming off the alternator connected to. Are you saying that this 10 gauge wire is supposed to directly connect to that wire?

Your 10 gauge wire coming from the alternator should plug into the other 10 gauge wire in that two pin connector. (you've got it plugged into the wrong wire) run another wire from the small wire in the connector up to one of the connectors on the clutch, the other connector on that clutch should be grounded to the bracket holding the compressor on to the engine.

Ah ok that makes sense. There is only two wires coming out of the two pin connector though. One of which is the 10 gauge and the other smaller black one runs into the taped harness.
