plate choice
I have a tendency to plan ahead. My project car is now in the shop, and should be completed by April. I spent some time on the license bureau today looking for what I can use for a plate on the car. The plate can have a maximum of 7 digits. It will give you a message of either available or not available or doesn’t meet their standards. They also pick where a space would be in the alpha numeric characters on the plate. TRIPS, and TRIPOWR are not available. I tried “389 32S” I got a return of “38932 S”.
Here is a little information about the car. It is a 1962 Pontiac Tempest convertible. The engine is a 1961 Bonneville 389 Tri-Power. The body will be stock, and the wheels will be steel with hubcaps. The exhaust will be 2.5 inch all the way back with the 14 inch Summit Turbo mufflers. Hopefully it will not roar to much unless I am on the loud peddle. Please vote for your choice for the best license plate. ZZZZZER, 3DUCE62, or other. Note if you vote other, you must offer a third choice. |
Try for 3MTA3 doubt they will issue thou.
What about Pontiac or radman? |

SIKSPAK or SICKSPK or 6PACK61

"topless" maybe?
|
PONTIAC, and TEMPEST are already in use. The system will not accept RADMAN, or TOPLESS. I am also thinking about BFORGTO. That did come back as avalible.
|
BFORGTO is pretty cool.
Also consider: 62TEMPST TMPSTX6 |
WOMPUM (available on the Oplates.com website)
(I voted 'other') |
How about 'TEMPTNG' or 'MYTEMPL' or 'TMT8SHN' or 'TIPTOP'
