Online Ordering

I just placed my first (I think) online order from here. Back in the day, it was a phone call and a paper catalog.

Anyway, the online process is pretty rough. I had to submit my order, but without knowing what the shipping cost was or how changing the various shipping options affected the price. I had selected Paypal as my payment method. I then chatted with Stacey, who explained to me that I would get an e-mail once the order was received by them, and then I could pay and be done. I said "great, let's get this done quickly so the part can ship soon." But, she informed me that the e-mail would probably come around noon (it's about 10:30 now) and the mail pickup would most likely have happened already.

Anyway, this is a weird setup IMO. On all the other sites I order from electronically, which is how I do 99% of my shopping, I can see shipping costs and pay instantly, walk away from the computer and know my order is being processed.

I'm not wanting to gripe, but I do think this could be streamlined for a better customer experience.

BTW, Stacey was very pleasant and a great help.

Bull, PY is working on both being able to show your shipping cost for your order and integrating paypal into the current system.

In the mean time, Thanks for your business!

Thanks for the reply. I hope I didn't sound like a douche. I was just surprised and frustrated by the system. I'll still order from ya. :)
