Wanted: T5 transmission on the cheap.
 

I want a T5 transmission on the cheap to install behind a naturally aspirated inline 6 engine. Cheaper is better. Needing rebuild is okay if cheap enough. If a Mustang one I'll figure out what I need to do to make it bolt to the GM bellhousing and work with a GM engine. Its for a temporary install, a year or so, so I don't want to spend a ton on it.

I'd check your local Craigslist.com ad's. Most T5's are broken because they simply didn't last long behind anything.

Did that while in CA for So. Cal, Las Vegas and for Elko (185 miles from here), and there were better deals on E-bay.

I figured as you mention since they don't last long behind anything, some one here might have one as a door stop from an upgrade.

I have a couple tubs full of T5 parts but shipping is probably more than its worth.

Nothing complete? E-bay implies shipping can be around $100.
