SPI Epoxy

Can SPI epoxy primer be used on bare metal ? I've only used it on the endura bumper repairs and was wondering if I should use something different on bare metal or does SPI work well in either case. I'm having a 69 Judge dustless blasted today and want to cover up the bare metal asap.
Thanks

"We are known on enthusiast message forums worldwide for our Epoxy Primer. All four
colors have outstanding adhesion to metals and aluminum, excellent chemical resistance,
outstanding corrosion protection and can be easily sanded by wet sanding, dry sanding or
DA sanding. You can also apply body filler and 2K primer over our Epoxy Primer for up
to 7 days without sanding."

Awesome Thank for that info. I got car totally blasted outside. Took parts off and did inside doors, trunklid, hood, valance. Total blast time 2 hrs. Not much bondo in this judge but bondo takes a bit longer. No warpage at all works great.me and a buddy are doin this here in Alberta. Big or small parts.Total time 5 hours.
Thanks Webfoot

I've used it, stuff is good and not as expensive as many others - if there is no dealer in your area they ship it for free.

I started using it this past spring for the first time. I'm not an expert, but I took my time and everything seemed to go well. It sprayed out very nicely.
Like anything else, surface prep is everything. SPI's web site is very informative. Check the product info and the forums.

Had not noticed you were in AB. Not sure if it applies in that case, but its worth a call anyway. Very helpful and the owner himself will take calls and reply to tech emails.
