Need help with new 49-68 rear disc setup

We are redesigning our 49-68 Pontiac/Olds rear disc setup. We may be able to do this as a drum-in-hat type emergency brake setup instead of a integral caliper style as before. As you know the early Pontiacs had a different style of cable retention to the backing plate as shown in the Buick pic. What we need help in is dimensions where the Pontiac cable mounts to the drum backing plate. If we know this the existing or repop cable can be used if slightly modified. Pix of the Pontiac backing plate are great too...

So are you asking for dimensions from ANY year backing plate between 49-68? I have some 1965 backing plates loose that I can easily measure.

Yes, the more the merrier - usually this kind of stuff does not change much but one never knows.

So it looks like here was a design change between 61 (as I posted in the 61 forum) and 62 from a bolt in brake cable to one with a clip retained cable.

New setup on the test bench. We found machining the bracket for bearing clearance was not an attractive option here so we are adding a pair of bearing shims to retain the wheel bearing securely. The rotor is from an Impala, and uses the drum-in-hat style e-brake. We improved this by utilising a cheaper, larger caliper and also a adjustment screw mounted that allow external fitment. Hose routing is pretty simple as shown, with a welded tab to securely retain the line - no zip ties.

Looking good...I'll be glad to have the drum e-brake option and ditch the TA calipers. Any estimate on price and availability?
