Nickey Traction Bars

Been thinking about these, but the price is steep. Well, I think its steep, I'm a tightwad. Anyone ever try to make some? doesn't look too difficult. Maybe get some bottom plates and some steel? https://www.gss-supercars.com/wp-con...Bars-Promo.png

They wouldn't be too hard to fabricate, but on E bay you can buy about any brand traction bar you would want for less than they want for the Nickey decaled ones. Starting at $149/pr.

If you have a welder you can make your own. When I had a leaf spring car, I liked the snubber on the eye of the spring or closer to it.

Consider using a half leaf from the perch to the front eye....works great in my friend's 68 bird with a 428 manual.
