Headers in 67 GTO
Is there a way to install passenger header without removing oil filter housing? Go higher with engine? Already tilted engine pretty high but oil filter housing is in the way. Pain in butt to install housing with headers in the way, Thanks!

I've always removed the oil filter housing. I don't think you're gonna get around it.

I agree, was hoping for a miracle [emoji3], Thanks for the response!

It's not too bad. A little bit of a pain getting on the three bolts. Pontiac headers are sooo much fun!!! :)

Used Hedman Husler headers in my 1967 GTO. They are made in 3 pieces on each side and go on with no problem at all.

I already have the Doug's headers so looks like I will have to remove the oil filter housing. Interesting that Herman does a 3 piece header, any issues with leaks?

Most guys just use a smaller diameter oil filter for this problem. Do a search there are a few oil filters that will work.

No leaks until they had been on engine for over 25 years. At that point I had to change the gasket at the right front exhaust port. Took about a half hour. Just removed second bolt from the front and loosened front bolt and slid out burnt front piece of gasket and slid in new piece.

I cut my flange so there are 3 separate flanges.
