455 hyd roller cam?
Hi everybody,
Going thru my old parts stash a found a comp hyd roller cam with a 3315/3317(230/242@.050”) on a 114 LSA grind. How would this work on a 455 with 9.8:1 CR and ported d ports? Thanks, Kevin |
If I had it I would run it,no ideas what other will say.Tom

Very similar to Butler custom except with an additional 6 degrees exhaust duration. They are COMP XE lobes.
https://butlerperformance.com/i-2936...tegory:1459686 It's the Comp XR288HR but instead of a 110 LSA its custom ground with the wider 114 lobe separation. . |
I`d run it. Especially in a heavier street car.

Should make great power, have decent vacuum and a steady idle especially with a 114 LSA. If you have an auto trans it should have a 2500 stall converter for best performance.

Thank you everyone, I appreciate your input!
